Eddie Dean Bowman 70, of Evansville, IN passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at home. He was born in Princeton, IN on June 22, 1952.
Eddie graduated from Reitz High School in 1970 and married the love of his life, Janice Bowman. Eddie was a US Veteran serving in the Army. He retired from the post office after working there for 50 plus years. He was a licensed auctioneer, an ordained minister, and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association local chapter. Eddie attended Bethel Church on Lincoln Ave. Eddie had a personal relationship with Jesus and loved the Lord with all of his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Pauline Bowman; brother, Gerald “Buddy” Bowman; sister, Lois Jean Hart; brother, Charles Bowman.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janice Bowman; son, Shane Bowman; brother, John Bowman (Peggy); sister, Deanna Bright (Larry); sister-in-law, Rebecca Bowman; brother-in-law, Ronnie Walker (Sherry); numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel with burial in Providence Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Friends and family may visit 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the funeral home and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until service time.
