She graduated in 1946 from F.J. Reitz High School. Edna retired from Old National Bank in 1991. She was a lifetime member of the Riverbend Association. She was an avid boater. You could often find Edna out with her friends, playing cards or dancing.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters; and husband, George Delgman; sons, Donald Delgman and Dennis Delgman; grandson, Bobby Delgman; brother, Ray Kerchief; nephew, Ricky Kerchief; and a great-niece, Christina Schindler.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Cherie Salee (Nick), Danielle Johann (John), grandson, Dennis Powers; nieces, Joy Carson and Tina Kerchief; nephew, Doug Schmeing; many great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter; and many wonderful friends.
Edna's funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Dr. in Evansville, with burial to follow. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the cemetery chapel.
