She was an employee of Whirlpool for 27 years, and retired in 1996.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Isabelle Webster, Elvis Taylor, Irene Taylor and Oneida Day; and husband of 47years, Robert Ford.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children, Phillip (Brenda) Taylor and Kimberly Ford of Evansville, IN; two sisters, Willa Mae Carter of Chicago Heights, IL and Dorothy (JD) Jones of Evansville, IN; granddaughter, Nicole Taylor; great-granddaughter, Leniah Cole of Indianapolis, IN; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2015, at Cleaves Memorial CME Church, 650 Line Street, Evansville, IN. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Pritchert, Gentiva Hospice Staff, and Dr. Michael Allen for their wonderful care of Edna.
