
Ed served in the U.S. Army, aiding in the occupation of Japan; then served in the Korean War.
He loved the outdoors, woodworking, hiking, and photography. Ed was also an avid gun collector and enjoyed target shooting.
Ed retired from Alcoa after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Beulah Ruth Marsh; brothers, Ray and Francis Marsh; sister, Leona Evelin Marsh; and grandson, Terrence Marsh.
Ed is survived by sons, Edsel Marsh Jr (Sandy), of Evansville, Gordon Marsh (Debbie), of Ft. Branch, Gary Marsh (Andrea), of Columbus, Ga.; daughters, Roxane Oran, of Evansville, Janet Marsh, of Evansville; grandchildren, Angie, Lisa, Randy, Jennifer, Mark, Jessica, Lauren, Sam and James; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Allie, Andy, Noah and Grady.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Alexander North Chapel with entombment at Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 till 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN.
