Ed was employed at Alcoa for 30 years and was a member of the Steel Workers Local 104.
He loved to restore cars and go country line dancing. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family.
Ed is survived by his wife Loretta (Thompson) Chittenden; sons, Edward Chittenden Jr., (Jennifer), Andrew Chittenden; daughters, Sheila Perkins, Andrea Denton (Ronnie); step-daughter, Stephanie Noffsinger (Brent); step-son, Eric Morgan and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Springtown Rd, Evansville IN with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 at Alexander North Chapel.
