Eileen H Grubb

She graduated in 1936 from Bridgeport High School in Illinois. She was an executive secretary for Mead Johnson for 38 years. Eileen was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church for 43 years then transferred to the Turning Pointe in 1994. She loved children, chocolate Hostess Donuts with tea, music and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Grubb; son, Barry Dee Warren; sisters, Ruth Marie White, Wilma Fern Bender, Freda Estel Prout; and dear friend, Doris Schwartz.

Eileen is survived by son, Mervin Eddie Dale, Evansville; grandchildren, Tod Alan Dale, Evansville, Kelly McKnight (David), Evansville; great-grandchildren, Kara McKnight, Zachary Scott; nieces, Donna Tracy, Sheila Titsworth, Betty Castleberry; many great-nieces and nephews; dear friends, Mel Schwartz, Carroll & Annette Herrenbrook, JoAnn & Ted Morris, Barbara West, Barbara Pickle, Bill & Cindy Calhoun, Billy Foster, Exie Newcom, Bonnie & Terry Schultheis, Shirley & Pat Bryan, Larry & Linda Murray; and many friends at church.

Services will be 10:00AM, Friday, January 11, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Scott Cassel with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit, Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
