Ellauise D. Brendel

Ellauise graduated from Reitz High School in 1939. She worked for 27 years at Shane Manufacturing.

She was a Charter member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Ellauise loved fishing, being outdoors, attending Reitz High School football games, crocheting, sewing, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald F. Brendel, Sr., brothers, Lawrence and Donald Barnett, sister, Virginia Barnett, grandson, Michael Brendel, and great grandson, Levi Brendel.

She is survived by sons, Ronald F. Brendel of Pine Island, FL, Gary W. Brendel (Marilyn) of FL, Terry R. Brendel (Carolyn) of Valparaiso, John R. Brendel (Kathy); daughter, Ellauise D. Brendel; sister, Joyce Schauss of WA and Earleen Bennett of RI; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Christ Lutheran Church, 200 W. Mill Road, officiated by Pastor Arlene Okey, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
