There will never be a man with such a gigantic heart with so much love to give to so many people. Now you are with the Love of your Life forever.  RIP and know that we all have the warmest memories of you and what you have done for us, especially keeping Mom at home during her time of need.  We'll always Love & Respect you forever and hope to one day see you both. Give Mom a big hug from all of us!!

Huck, thanks for all the wonderful memories. You made such a huge impact on my life and ill always love you. You were more than just an uncle to me  you were more like a dad. I'll never forget the time you took me fishing when I got my first cane pole. You always said you'd take me as long as I didn't out fish you ( I was so afraid I would). I will miss so much.

I can just see Uncle Elmer and Dad and Grandpa sitting up there fishing on the river bank. Probably also planning their hunting plans for later.  Mom and Grandma figuring out all the genealogy of the family. All the kids here remembering the fish pond he use to take us to and through food out to the fish so us kids could watch the fish come up to eat.  Gonna miss seeing him out in his garden working.  From  all the Tate Family, prayers and healing angels coming your way.

IM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOST HUCK WAS A GREAT MAN.. IM GOING TO MISS MY HUCK A BERRY FINN( THAT IS WHAT I ALWAYS CALLED HIM)

We lost a good man when we lost Huck.Huck and i worked at fruehauf together for eleven years and it was a great time.I remember Myrna came in one day and i asked her if she was looking for Huck.She said Ralph you call him Huck one more time and i going to slap you.She said that is the only name he will answer to.She said if i call him Elmer,he looks at me like who is that.A week later she came in and said i give up Ralph,you might as well call him Huck as everbody else does.I would bet she is saying welcome home Elmer,and he is looking at her and saying who is that.Rest in piece Huck as you will be missed.

RIP Uncle Huck- I always loved hearing your stories of fishing on the Wabash with my Grandpa Harrison  - You will be missed by many!

My family like most in Hucks neighborhood considered him a fixture that you knew you would always see out in his garden when the weather was nice,he always threw that arm in the air and said "hey "to all that passed by , even the children on the school buses knew Huck.He was a great man and will be missed by all who knew him .RIP Huck

We are going to miss Elmer coming in the office and always having a joke for us, he was so much fun to talk to, always brightened our day.  You will be missed!

This came as such a shock - we had stopped in to see him on our walk just a few evenings before. He was a great person and neighbor and we will miss him so much. We know that he is finally happy again to be reunited with the love of his life - he missed her so much over the years. God speed Huck!
