November 25, 2021

I was fortunate to listen to your father’s service on line last night. My grandmother, Ada Hall Newlin & your grandmother, Florence were sisters. I’m glad I could see the service. So sorry for your families’ loss. He left so many fond memories with his sons and I would have liked to have met such an interesting man. You spoke of Paoli often. I was born and raised on a farm east of Paoli. My mother, Nina is still very much alive. She was 100 years old this past September and lives in her home in Paoli just a few miles from where she was born & raised. And within a mile of where your grandmother was raised. My mother’s sister, Neva, is 96 yr old. She resides in assisted living. These two sisters are the only living first cousins of a large number. Your father plus two more cousins past away this past year.

I apologize for such a lengthy message. I reside in French Lick with my husband of 53 years and have two children. I’m 72 years old.
Happy Thanksgiving to your family.
Sincerely,
Aletha Lewis Cooper
