He was a loving father, son and brother and, often at a personal cost to himself, gave his heart to those he cared about, especially his family. Never the one to deny a helping hand, Eric was there for any person in need and was always willing to give when he was able.
He was an amazing father to Kaylee, 9, and Alana, 3, both of whom he loved very much. He was a fan of nature, outdoor life and the Fourth of July.
Eric was born on a military base in Panama City, Panama, on Feb. 21, 1984. He grew up in Kentucky, where he learned to love the outdoors, and later moved to Evansville.
A graduate of Benjamin Bosse High School, Eric also received an associate’s degree in industrial technology from Ivy Tech Community College. He was employed at Hoosier Stamping.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marion Elliott, and his paternal grandfather, Joseph Lester.
Eric is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Stacy and Jerry Warren; his father David E. Lester (Melissa), of Timberville, Va.; his girlfriend Mary Ota and their two beautiful daughters, Kaylee and Alana Lester; his maternal grandmother, Betty Elliott, and his paternal grandmother, Freda Lester; his brothers Bruce Lester (Sarah), of Lexington, Ky., Mark Lester and Zach Evans; his half-brothers Justin and Jeremy Lester, of Timberville, Va.; his step-brother Chris Warren (Stacia), and step-sister Haley Warren; and his former step-brothers Andrew and Daniel Evans, of New Albany, Ind.
