Eugene Raymond Deutsch, Sr.

He was born April 11, 1936 in Evansville to Raymond and Mildred (Bourne) Deutsch.

Gene retired from Whirlpool Corporation and was a 50-year plus member of Evansville Masonic Lodge #64, Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine, and Hadi Oriental Band. He attended Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Gene enjoyed fishing and UE basketball.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Barbara Qualls and Leah Wedding.

He is survived by his son, Gene Deutsch, Jr. (Mary Jane); daughter, Melanie Kerney (Keith); grandchildren, Chad Becker (Judeth), Brooke Beane (Joal), and Andrea Tanaka (Josh); seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Georgia Mayse.

A private service will be held at a later date.
