I only met your Mr. Latham a few times. He was there, with my father, when Buzz and I went to San Francisco, in 1970. He would also occasionally come into the Schnucks store, where I work. I too am sorry for your loss.

I would also say that I think of your mother now and then. She helped me get my first job while I was still a senior at Bosse.

My dear Rosemary I am so sorry you have lost Gene. Please allow me to express my sympathy this way because I am in essence housebound now. I liked Gene and am glad you had these years together. May God hold you in the hollow of his hand and give you peace. Donna Ray Hagedorn

SCOTT ALTHAUS

May 13, 2014

I am so sorry for the loss of Gene. This is Scott Althaus, whom I think you know who I am. My father Fred & mother June have had a lot of good memories over the years, not to say of that GREAT basketball team of 1942. As I was growing up remembering, the great times Gene, Ted, Lenard, & my Dad had. Can you imagine the time they are having now that they are all together. Probably getting a game together. Our deepest sympathy, Rosemary---Scott & June
