Charlotte, we were sorry to hear about Gene. My most precious memory is right after I lost my Farm Bureau position, You and Gene were the first to come to me and express your feelings of surprise , That meant so much to me.
May God be with you during this time of sadness.

Uncle Gene was the kindest man. I will always remember him educating me on beans! He always greeted me with a smile and nice big hug. I remember always trying to pay for his meals when we would visit and I would even go to the waitress and say “this is just one check and give it to me.” Uncle Gene would somehow finagle his way to getting the bill and paying for it...that stinker! He would just grin at me like the chestier cat and I would know what he just did! I will forever be grateful for him loving me and the kindness that he showed me. I will miss his smile and his hugs! Until we see each other again, forever in my memories and always in my heart. Love Tami
