She was a 1949 graduate of Anderson High School. Upon marrying William L. Chapman, she became a dedicated mother and housewife, as well as supporting and assisting him throughout his ministry.
Evelyn is survived by her sons, W. Robert and Stephen S. Chapman; grandchildren Jonothan, and Laura, Christopher; and great grandchildren, Jonothan and Kimora.
Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, with burial to follow.
