

Flossie was a machine operator for Windsor Plastics for many years. She worked at Hardee’s, YMCA, and most recently at G.D. Ritzy’s and as a School Crossing Guard.
She was a member of Faith Temple / Abundant Faith Church. She loved taking care of her family and caring for many children over the years. She enjoyed watching television, bowling and sweet candy.
Flossie was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar George Norton Mulvey and Gladys (Martin) Mulvey; Connie and Donnie's father, Terry Ray Martin; foster daughter, Leah Sue Brown-Collins; grandson, Steven Minton-Wolfe; brother-in-law, Bill Beshear; and great niece, Maci Mulvey. Unfortunately, Flossie was unexpectedly followed in death by her daughter, Connie S. (Martin) DeWeese on February 17, 2025.
In addtion to Connie, survivors include her son, Donald Ray Martin; foster son, Tommy Elliott; foster daughter, Nikki Bivens; grandchildren, Ashley (Tonya), Samantha (Austin), Destiny (Brian), Chrisney, Amanda, Karrie and Paul, Jr.; great grandchildren, Kenzie, Jaala, Kyden, Korbyn, Karmyn, Ky’A, Vanity, Andrea, Rikki, Austin, Harmonie, Malachi, Envy, Ivy, Honesty, Jayda, Dayton, Bailey, Hailey, Jacob, JonJon, Aaliyah, Ashtyn, Bryson, Aaliyah, and Cainon; sisters and brothers, Myrtle Masterson (Donald), Ruth Beshear, Dale Mulvey (Donna), Oscar Eugene Mulvey, Jarrie Brown, Angeli Danks, Tony Mulvey (Jeanna), and Philip Mulvey (Sheryl); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Deacon Justin Reising. Burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
