Obituary of Fonda L. Allison
Fonda L. (Elsey) Allison, 62, went to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 2, 2021, surrounded by her family in Evansville, IN. Fonda was born in Meadville, PA on September 27, 1958 to the late Glenn and Marthella (Jack) Elsey. Fonda loved life and loved people. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and on her little farm. Family times were very important. She used social media as a tool to touch people’s lives, often without anyone else knowing. She loved her family, her church family, her Rodan + Fields community, and all her friends stretching across the globe. Fonda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Duane F Allison; son, Stephen Allison; daughter, Elizabeth Allison; brothers, David Elsey (Pat), Jonathan Elsey (Madeleine), Stephen Elsey (Gail); sisters, Susan Keaton (James), Beverly Loomis (Tim); and many beloved nieces and nephews as well as other extended family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at CrossPointe Trinity Church, with Rev. Duane F Allison officiating. Lord willing, there will be indoor seating, outdoor seating, radio broadcast to the parking lot, and livestream on Facebook. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CrossPointe Trinity Church, 6515 Old Boonville Hwy, Evansville, IN 47715.
