Frances A. Barton

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvon L. Barton in 1969; son, Garry Wayne Barton in 2002 and grandson, Curtis A. Dockins in 2017.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Terri L. Dockins; sister, Dorothy L. Owen;

grandsons, Gregory A. Dockins (Marissa), Jeffrey C. Dockins (Katie) and Christopher R. Barton; granddaughters, Ashley R. Barton and Victoria R. Barton; great grandchildren, Rianna Barton, Emilee Barton, Adam Brazier, Rebecca Barton, David Dockins and Levi Cunningham.

Frances was a member of Grace Baptist church for 54 years, where she continued to volunteer after retiring. She retired from Meridian Insurance in 1990 and from Schultheis Insurance in 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Rick Porter, with burial at Douglas Cemetery in Eldorado, IL. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
