

Frances “Jackie” Jacqueline Dill Simmons, 85, of Evansville, was called home to her mansion on the hill on Saturday, October 20, 2012. She was born July 30, 1927, in Vincennes to the late Elbert and Nola Woolsey.
She was a cashier at A & P Store, secretary at Colonial Bank in Newburgh, had worked at the downtown DeJongs, was a Mary Kay Consultant and a caregiver. She had lived in Michigan, Missouri, Indiana and retired in Florida. She enjoyed fishing in the ocean and collecting hats. She was a member of Newburgh United Methodist Church.
Jackie was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and James Woolsey; and sister, Olive Wilkison.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Brown (Jim) and Judith Wright, all of Evansville; son, Roy Dill III (Debbie) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Jennifer Saddler (Brian), Robert Brown (Melissa), Laura Capps (Jim), Cynthia Dale (Darrell), Chad Dill and Katie Dill; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
