

Frances Gates Deason Parker, 72, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born February 21, 1943, in Chicago, IL, to the late John L. and Ressie (Barnett) Williams.
She was a Courtroom Deputy with the Vanderburgh County Court for ten years and the US District Court, under District Magistrate William Hussmann, for 17 years. She met monthly with the Armstrong Girls and was a member of CrossPointe Trinity Church, where she had been a board member.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ressie Williams; first husband, Paul E. Gates; and second husband, Robert Deason.
She is survived by her husband of one year, Stephen M. Parker; sons, Paul (Shirley) Gates of Boonville and Brian (Cheryl) Gates of Mt. Vernon, IL; daughter, Jenise King (Tim Trulove) of Evansville; step-children, Pam (Brad) Oglesby of Henderson, KY, Ronald (Angie) Deason of Newburgh, Tina (Mark) Becker of Barnhart, MO, Stephen (Lisa) Parker, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, Bruce Parker (Curt Boatman) of Mart, TX, and Philip (Heather) Parker of Catawissa, MO; grandchildren, Heather (Tom) McLanahan, Rhonda (Dee Dee) Gates-Wilson, Jonathan (Sam) King, and Jordan King; 13 step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Bonnie) Williams of Evansville; sister, Imogene (Harold) Barnhart of Evansville; nieces and nephews; and furry children, Jo-Jo and Foo-Foo.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Duane Allison and Rev. Everett Freels, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
