Frederick "Fred" Schultze

Frederick “Fred” F. Schultze, 85, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born in Evansville, IN on January 15, 1937 to his late parents, Fred and Helen Schultze.

Fred served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany for 2 years. He enjoyed his work as a carpenter. He was a master of many trades. Fred enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He loved his two Yorkies, Missy and Little Bit.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 43 years, Mara Schultze (known to Fred as his “Honeybabe”) and son; Buddy Schultze.

He is survived by daughters, Cindy Witham (Ronnie), Theresa Milligan; grandchildren, Jonathon Witham (Tammy), Christina James (Michael), Casey Gross (Amanda); great grandchildren, Alliyah Patton, Alyssa Witham, Lucas and Lantze James, Corbyn and Audrey Gross; siblings, Ann Niehaus, Steve Schultze and Betty Stephson; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Father Eugene Feagan. Family and friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
