Gary retired from Whirlpool and was as in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 464 and the Hadi Shrine. Gary was an avid UK Basketball and Chicago Bears Football fan. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his brothers, Steve VanBibber, Paul VanBibber (Susan), Alan VanBibber; sisters, Teresa VanBibber and Regina Kinsey; former wife, Lori Evans; many nieces and nephews; and his dog and constant companion, Lillie Belle.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 10, 2012 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Father Ted Tempel with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
