Genevieve Hines

She was a member of Helfrich Avenue General Baptist Church and recently attended United General Baptist Church. Genevieve served as Sunday School Secretary and treasurer, trustee, and song leader. Genevieve was a lifetime westsider and was in the first Queen Contest in the West Side Nut Club 1947 Fall Festival.

Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years Kenneth M. Hines; mother, Stella Fogle and father Hallie Fogle; sister, Ruth A. (Fogle) Wittenbraker; brother, Earl S. Fogle, James T. Fogle, Hal Fogle; nephew, Hugh Wittenbraker.

She is survived by her sister, Agnes Gonterman; nieces, Janet Elliot, Pam Muensterman, Debbie Cohoon, Carol Ann Fink; nephews, Ronald and Mike Gonterman, Mark Fogle; caregivers, Lana Bunner and Bill Bowers.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel with burial at a later time in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
