Rick and Uncle Dee, we are thinking of both of you in this time of great loss.
We are so glad we were able to visit with Uncle George within the last few months. We heard some great stories from the past, things we didn't know or had forgotten (family history).

Uncle George, say hi to mom and dad, grandma Leona, pop Hotz, grandma Ada and grandpa Donald for all of us.

Dearest loved ones of Eddie (George)
Eddie has been around and in the Derrinton lives for over 57 years
His open love of God has touched me greatly.
Thursday morning the 14 th of October , I talked to Eddie, I told Eddie all I could do is pray for him . Eddie said" yes that is all you can do keep praying.
I told Eddie I would pray for mercy in his pain, and for Eddie to be strong and have courage. Eddie thanked me.
A huge void has been made in our lives.
Thank God we have the assurance knowing God is with us, and we will see Eddie again

I remember George as a man who loved God and God's word. When I attended Christ Chapel, he also sometimes would sing hymns (very well) that would bless us. My sympathy to his family.

A childhood of fond memories that I still hold dearly will keep you forever in my mind. Although we grew apart in my adult life, I am so glad we had time for a visit last weekend. May you rest in peace uncle.
