Georgina "Gina" (Thomas) Mulcahy

Sept. 05, 1970- April 10, 2014

Gina Thomas, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend. A loving mother to two amazing boys; Trevor Mulcahy(10) and Shane Mulcahy(12) who never stopped surprising their mother. Her mother Ruby Thomas would always describe her as an outgoing and fun loving person. “She was my angel, my heart, and my soul.” Gina was preceded in death by her father Edward Thomas.

Through many battles and struggles Gina persevered. Anyone who knew Gina has to admit that she tried her best to hold her head up high and to keep a smile on her face. Gina was always quick to answer with her own trademark “style”.

It didn't matter if you had two or four legs she would always consider you a friend. She loved animals of any shape or size. Gina graduated from North High School, class of 1988. After high school Gina worked at St. Mary's Hospital as a clerical assistant. She then followed her passion and found a job she loved working at, West Side Veterinary Hospital. Gina worked until her health would no longer allow her to work any longer.

Although Gina is no longer on this earth we share, she will never be gone. She has left her imprint on all of our lives and hearts. We can take joy in knowing that heaven gained another angel to watch over us all.

The viewing will be held Tuesday April 15th, 2014 at 5PM. Services will start at 7PM. at Alexander Memorial East Chapel located at 2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714.
