Jerry was an avid bowler, scoring a perfect 300 and pool player. He was a member of the River Bend Association. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially football and baseball. He was strong in his beliefs and a member of Calvary Temple Church. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army. He retired from Vectren after twenty-nine years.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Phillips.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Rhetta Campbell (Michael), Sarah Perdue (Ryon Wilson); grandchildren, Erin Marx (Jesse), Logan Miller, Tyler Wilson, Quinn Wilson; brother, Danny Perdue (Carolyn); brother-in-law, Richard Phillips, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Jeff Edmondson, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. The funeral service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel.
