Geraldine Dorothy Burch, 85, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born January 30, 1932, in Chicago, IL, to the late Everett Walter and Pauline (McCool) Massey.
She was a talented seamstress, working for DeJongs and Lazarus during her career. Geraldine played Clabber, enjoyed collecting dolls, and was a member of two doll clubs. She loved her cat, Pretty Boy.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Burch.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Mike) Embry and Gwen (Scot) Hamer; grandchildren, Kris and Jarrod Embry and Lauren, Lydia, and Logan Gentry; great-grandson, Vladimir Perry; brother, Richard (Martha) McCool; and sister, Rebecca Peebles.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
