Geraldine "Jerry" Jeanette Britt

She was a loving, caring woman who always put others before herself. She was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Reading was her passion and she enjoyed her frequent visits to the library. She also enjoyed flowers, crafts, and attending events involving her grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Britt, Sr.; son, Robert Britt, Jr.; daughters, Sharon (Gary) Russell, Linda Forshee, and Patti (Mickey) Manley; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Joe Schulte, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Jerry's family would like to extend a deep appreciation to Dr. Edward Fox, OHA, and Heritage Hospice for their compassion during her battle with AML.
