Gladys Jean Parsons Graul

She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and Eastern Star. She worked as a Beauty Operator for Be Lovely Beauty Shop in Evansville and was a caregiver for her family members in times of need. Gladys was a very caring, loving and selfless person and will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved her.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Phillip Graul; mother, Anna Parsons; father, Percy Parsons; sister, Lilly Parker; and niece, Carol Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Graul; son and daughter-in-law, Alvin Phillip and Marty Graul; brothers, Wilbert and Curt Parsons; grandchildren, Mary, Stephen and Michael Graul; nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome to attend visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2011, and services at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and the American Heart Association.
