

He graduated from Huntingburg High School in 1946 and University of Evansville in 1950 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and later earned a master’s in business. He worked for International Harvester for five years and Whirlpool Corporation for 31 years. He was an active member of Methodist Temple since 1952. Glenn married the love of his life, Doris (Lohman) Katterhenry on December 31, 1950. He and Doris loved to travel the world. He also enjoyed playing in several bands, including The Temple Airs, The Dixielanders, and The DejaVue Band.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Kate Katterhenry; wife of 56 years, Doris; son, Bob; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hasler and Louella Katterhenry; and brother-in-law, Bill Lohman.
He is survived by his son, Joe (Nancy) Katterhenry of Newburgh; daughter, Jane (Bruce) Henrickson of Boonville; grandchildren, April (David) Baker, Stephanie (Mike) Baggett, Mark Katterhenry, Sarah (Jeremy) Cravens, Wade Henrickson, and twin granddaughters, Rachel and Kate Henrickson; great-grandchildren, Mikaela and Eli Baggett; brother, Bill Katterhenry of St. Louis, MO; brothers-in-law, Dale Hasler and Joe Todrank; sisters-in-law, Gayle Lohman and Jerlene Peach; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Methodist Temple, 2119 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Andy Payton, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, and Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
