Glennon Dean Walker, 88, of Evansville, IN passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born on December 12, 1936 in Morley, MO to the late Alvin Morris Walker and Mary John (Nolan) Nicholson.
Glennon was a proud veteran who served his country for 12 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving and very intelligent man, and he shared the story of his life in his memoir, Glennon. He had a love for movies and a passion for travel, which led him to live in Mexico for a year and also participated in the Tour de France. In April 2023, Glennon took the Honor Flight as a tribute to his dedicated military service.
He is survived by his nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; and close friend, Lisa.
Glennon was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angel Walker; brothers, Morris Junior Walker, Melvin Walker, and Gary Walker; sisters, Laura Craig and Dorothy Hasty.
