Gloria attended Central High School, received her Bachelor’s at Evansville College and her Masters’ and Doctorate at Indiana University. She taught business courses at Bridgeport High School and ended her long teaching career at Olney Central College in Olney, Illinois. Gloria gave a lot of her time to social and civic organizations in Olney and was very active in church work.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and her mother, Cele Armstrong and her father, Clifford Parrish.
A service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel with Bishop Robert Giffin officiating from the All Saints Anglican Church with burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 9:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
