Gordon Douglas “Doug” Flewallen, 68, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at his home. He was born February 27, 1948, in Bowling Green, KY, to the late Paul and Margaret C. (McKee) Flewallen.
He was a veteran of the US Army and bought and sold real estate. He was of the Methodist Faith. Gordon enjoyed being with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. He also enjoyed being with his dogs, Sam & Dean.
Gordon was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Flewallen.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alice Griffin Flewallen; daughter, Kerri Lynn (Greg) Gehlhausen; son, Marc D. (Krista) Flewallen; grandsons, Benjamin Marc (Megan), Joshua Paul, and Elijah Michael Gehlhausen; great-grandson, Levi Griffin Gehlhausen, who Gordon considered the center of his universe; and beloved brothers and sisters, Shirley Cupp, Barbara (Carl) Fryxell; Paul “Butch” (Betty), Kenneth (Marsha), and Art (Cindy) Flewallen.
A memorial service will be planned for immediate family and loved ones.
