Helen Williams Andrews

Helen I. Andrews, 86, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Deaconess VNA Charlier Hospice. She was born July 8, 1930, in Harrisburg, IL to the late Albert Henry and Anna Bell (Atkinson) Williams.

She worked for Crescent Plastics for 18 years.

Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill R. Walker; and several brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She is survived by her husband, Claude Andrews; daughter, Wanda Ann Walker Cleveland; son, Tony R. (Karen) Walker; grandchildren, William “Luke” (Emily) and Michelle E. Walker; great-grandchild, Miya E. Walker; brother-in-law, Jack G. Andrews; step-sons, Mike and Jeff Johnson; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
