Helen was a beautician for 45 years managing DeJong’s Beauty Shop for 20 years.
She was a member of Evansville General Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bidwell in 1956 and her second husband, Allen Dempsey in 1990.
She is survived by her son, Robert Bidwell; granddaughter, Leslie Bidwell; and grandson, Zachery Bidwell (Rachel).
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 5, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. James Pickerill. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY. Friends may visit Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
