She retired from Libs Candies. She enjoyed outings with her longtime friend, Mary Lambert.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Dukes in 1995; and her sisters, Patsy Hope and Glenda Gray.
She is survived by her daughters, Gail (James) Hartley, Peggy Merritt, and DiAnna (Paul) Kramer; granddaughters, Belinda Goodall and Brandi Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Owen, Emma, Ashley, Avery, Jase, and Jack; sister, Elizabeth Isaac; brother, Gay Cooley; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Sonja Williams with Heritage Hospice for her wonderful care of Helen in her last days.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, August 24, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
