Helen enjoyed the Good Samaritan Home Auxiliary, Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, especially the youth concerts, and carried on Gordon’s legacy at the Literacy Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband on October 1, 1996; and sister, Betty Jean Page of Dallas, Texas.
Helen is survived by her niece, Kathy Burt and husband Michael of Plano, Texas; nephew, Nick Page and wife Evelyn of Liberty Hill, Texas; great-nephew, Staff Sergeant Bradley Burt and wife Barbara of Texas; great-great nephew, Corbin Burt of Texas; and great niece, Malissa Page-Grace also of Texas.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Methodist Temple, officiated by Rev. Stephen Beutler and Rev Mary Hurley with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 to service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, Good Samaritan Home Auxiliary, or Methodist Temple Music Fund.
