Her special interests included antiques, doll collecting, and quilting.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Hubert Roland; and parents, Sonnie and Sarah Miller.
She is survived by her son, George Roland of Eleanor, WV; daughter, Janet Hernandez of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, William Miller of Evansville; grandsons, Matthew Roland of Locust Grove, VA, Jonathan Roland of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Adam Huffine of Riverview, FL; granddaughter, Lindsey Hernandez of Riverview, FL; great-granddaughters, Amara Roland and Alexa Roland, both of Locust Grove, VA; and four nieces.
Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
