Henderson was a friend of mine from University High School in Mpls. Mn.  We had a very small class of only 68 students and I came to know and love Henderson very much.  He had a radiant smile and a bounce in his step and when Henderson was around, the atmosphere was brightened.  One could not be in his company and not be joyous.  Henderson was an example to me in many ways. He saw beyond race and accepted everyone even though our high school years saw the turmoil of the civil rights struggle.  Henderson has been in my prayers and I will continue to remember him often for the advancement of his illustrious soul.

We so enjoyed our friendship with Henderson.  We have a few pieces of art work that he made and gave to us.  Also, a joyous CD of Christmas music was a gift from Henderson. These gifts are a continuing reminder of him that we value so much.

His best gifts, however, were his friendship, his kind spirit, and his spirituality.

He will be missed.

I'll always remember Henderson's smooth voice, mellow spirit and kind words. He always had an encouraging word.  Although it's been years since I've seen him, I'll still miss him.

Henderson had a kind and gentle spirit and I count it an honor to have called him my friend. May God bless you all in your time of sorrow.

Henderson was such a gentle man.  Very kind and understanding.  We all will miss him deeply. A comfort to us all is knowing that we will see him again in our Father's house.  Henderson touched my life and for that I am grateful.
