Herbert P. Weisman

Herbert was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Otwell.

He retired from farming, trucking, and Herb Weisman Tire and Supply Company.

Herbert was a member of the Southern Indiana Antique and Machinery Club; 50 year member of Farm Bureau; SWIRCA; and the Armstrong Recreation Center.

He enjoyed the Vanderburgh County Fair, family reunions, Farm Bureau and SWIRCA trips, and his pet companions.

Herbert is survived by his former wife, Marilyn (Kron) Weisman; children, Susan (Weisman) English (Charlie, Jr.) of Evansville, Larry Weisman (Marguerite) of Havertown, PA, Jane Weisman of Brownstown, IN, and Jim Weisman, DVM of Lafayette, IN; brother, Walter Weisman, Jr. (Jeannie) of Hayesville, IN; grandchildren, Jenna, Joseph, and Jacob Weisman of Havertown, PA and Emily and Charlie, III English of Evansville; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tom Hubacheck, with a 2:00PM (EST) burial in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, 6483 W 580 N, Otwell, IN. Friends may visit Wednesday, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
