Herman Joseph Frankenberger, age 78, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Herman was born April 13, 1943 in Evansville, IN to the late Frederick Paul and Lillie May (Wilson) Frankenberger.
He was a giving man and did more for others than he did for himself. Herman was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. He enjoyed helping his children with their many projects while inventing many of his own.

In his younger years he spent his time playing golf, building and racing cars, and spending time at the river camping, fishing, and building boats by hand. Herman served his country in the Air Force branch of service.
Herman is survived by his five children, Wendy Woehler, Todd (Kristy) Frankenberger, Gregory (Ginny) Frankenberger, Kelly Frankenberger, and Jason Frankenberger (Nicole Ford); grandchildren, Dion, Devon, Randy, Hunter, Dalyn, Breanna, Brooklyn, Zain, Bailey, and Berkeley; and six great grandchildren; brother, Fred (Sharon) Frankenberger; sisters in-law, Donna Frankenberger, Wanda Frankenberger; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Teddy Johnson, Roy Frankenberger, William "Paul" Frankenberger, Stanley Frankenberger, and two infant sisters.
