Imogene Bentley

She was a member of the Lodge Avenue Salvation Army Church and the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. She retired from Inland Container after 44 years of service.

Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Phillip and William “Ray” Keach; twin sister, Irene Hillard; and grandson, Benjaman Keach.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Helen) Keach, Stephen Michael Smith, both of Evansville, David Allen Sanders of Florida and Thomas Wayne Sanders of Evansville; grandsons, Richard Michael (Paula) Keach, James William Keach, Benjamin Sanders and Billy Smith, all of Evansville; granddaughters, Linda Beth-Amber (Kavan) Talley, Kelly Katrese and Jessica, all of Evansville; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, James Evert Keach of San Antonio, TX; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Richard Keach, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Riverwalk Communities and Vista Care Hospice for their care and compassion while Imogene lived at Riverwalk.
