With profound sorrow, we share the passing of IsaBelle Preske, an 8-year-old who was taken from us far too soon in a tragic accident on September 26, 2026. Born on July 21, 2018, IsaBelle was the deeply loved daughter of Aaron Preske and Samantha Payne, and the cherished little sister of Braxton Preske.
A bright student at North Elementary School in Posey County, IsaBelle was a beautiful girl known for her eyes and smile that could melt any heart. She was so sweet, adored animals, especially kitties, and radiated immense light into all lives she touched. She was inseparable from her Daddy, and though her time with us was brief, she lived with an inspiring strength and resilience.
In addition to her parents and brother, she is survived by her Grampa, Wayne Payne, and Champa, Anthony Preske; her loving aunts, Alisha Payne, Tausha Reiter, Dorothy Embry, and Amber Preske (Freddy); her loving caregivers, Misti Bruce (James), Jacque Payne and Justin Preske (Rhett); and her uncles, Troy Payne and Brad Flittner (Jacob). She is also survived by many dear cousins, friends, and classmates who adored her.
IsaBelle was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Cindy Preske and Danese Payne, and her uncle, Sean Preske.

IsaBelle's funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Salem Church of Heusler, 11325 Lower Mt Vernon Rd., Evansville, IN 47712, officiated by Pastor Al Schmitz.
A private burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends and family may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday at church.
