

He graduated from Central High School in 1969, where he was an honor student. Jack went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Infantry as a rifleman and MP. He retired from Wilderman Associates as a mechanical draftsman. He was a big kid at heart and was a prankster and clown of the family. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved his family and especially adored spending time with his grandchildren. Jack was very easy going and never met a stranger.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Rosie Vaupel and Betty Betts.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Debby Kincade; daughter, Kelley League (James) of Evansville; son, Eric Kincade (Monika) of Carbondale, CO; step children, Eric Decker (Jess), Brandon Decker (Laura), and Roswitha Smith (Chris); grandchildren, Liam League, Kaelin League, Zoe Kincade, and Matt Kincade; step grandchildren, Eric Decker, Jr., Kaedon Smith, Alannah Smith, Zeke Smith, Noah Decker, and Rowan Decker; great grandchildren, Zoe Decker, and Lola Decker; niece, Tammy Hargett, and nephew, Troy Vaupel.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Kirk Horstmeyer, with entombment to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Military honors will be conducted by the Marine Corps League. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
