Jack is a graduate of Bosse High School in 1960, Jack was in the Army Reserves during Vietnam, married Val Mackey in 1962 and became a Father in 1967 with the birth of his son Jack Miller III. After 40 years in the plastic industry, he retired, turned his attention homeward with his plants and yard and met his soulmate Marilyn McConnell a short 3.5 years ago. Forever with a smile and a laugh and his steel gray blue eyes, he was simply the best of that generation disappearing too quickly today.
He was a passionate Christian, loving Father and an example of the virtues of kindness, charity and love for all. His passion for cars, drag racing, baseball, especially the Yankees and animals of all kinds will be long remembered by anyone who knew him.
His best friend Rudy Raab, who preceded him, shared a passion for high performance cars and late-night burnouts on farm roads when both were well into their 70’s .
He is survived by his son Jack Miller III, siblings Steve Miller and wife Jeanette Miller, Linda Miller, and Alan Miller and wife Rosalie MIller, nieces and nephews Sean Miller and wife Lasha Miller, April Miller, Michael Wagner, Michelle (Wagner) Hensley, Rick Miller and Melissa (Miller) Feller.
