

James Frank Gentry passed away January 13, 2024 at the age of 84 and is now in the arms of Jesus, his savior. He was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 28, 1939. James was a lifelong member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, a 1957 graduate of Central High School, and a proud Marine veteran.
Surviving are niece, Janna and her husband Jeff Barnes; nephew, John and his wife Angela Juarez; great nieces, Maggie (Jamie) Hensley, Hannah (Jordan) Lewis, Julia Juarez; great nephew, Justin Juarez; great great nephew, Lucas Hensley; great great nieces, Ellie and Lyla Lewis; several cousins; a few very close friends and any stray critter that might happen by.
Preceding him in death were his loving parents, Frank and Ruth; sister Julie Juarez; infant son, Franklin; companion, Judy Norton; and beloved dog, Pearlie.
Friends and family may gather for a Memorial Service and military honors at Alexander Memorial Park - Heritage Chapel on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Linda E. White Hospice House and Deaconess Midtown ICU.
