He enjoyed country music, rock and liked to sing and dance. He loved going to the casino, the beach, and Mexican food. He liked to tinker with watches. Everyone was a friend. He especially enjoyed spending time with family.
James was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry Lee Smith; and sister, Debbie Jane Smith.
He is survived by his daughters, Mistica Smith (Jeremy Burns), Sarah Jane King, and Jamie Smothers (Angus); grandchildren, Devon Burton, Jason Eaves, Skyler Risse, and Nova Lee Smothers; great-grandson, Javen Eaves; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones; partner, Jackie Dalby, and her son, Michael Conner.
A private family service will be held.
