James "Stoney" Stone

He worked as a bus driver for New Image Travel and as a gauger for Country Mark Refinery. In his later years before illness, Stoney drove a school bus for Marrs Elementary School. He enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycles and karaoke.

Stoney was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Linda Clark and Becky Stone; and brother, Pete Stone.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Faye Stone; children, Tammy Osborne, Robin Stone, Toby (Sonja) Phillips, Brandi (Luke) Stone and Denny Stone; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and baby Jhett coming in February; siblings, Pricilla (Manuel) Stewart, Shirley (Tom) White, Dennis Stone and Darrell Stone; siblings-in-law, Ed (Mary Ann) Evitts, Christine (Sonny) Pfingston, Dorothy Pease, Grady (Brenda) Harper, Sharon (Steve) Riley, Randy (Kathy) Harper and Patricia (David) Goodwin; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Leon Clark and Rev. Dallas Robinson. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
