Jan Graham Lockyear

Jan Graham Lockyear, 70, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born July 20, 1942, in Evansville. He graduated from Bosse High School in the Class of 1960 and was the proud third generation owner of Lockyear Tire Shop. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Hadi Shrine and was founder of the Hadi Highlanders. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Jan was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Graham and Eleanor Marie Lockyear. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda (Mahrenholz) Lockyear; son, Chad (Debbie) Lockyear; daughter, Heidi (Troy) Akins; grandchildren, Aleah Lockyear, Allison Lockyear, Miley Akins, Ty Akins; and his best friend from high school, Robert Alan Shelton. Jan also leaves behind his remote control that his wife doesn’t know how to operate. Private services will be held.
