Janice Faye Blackwell Stone

Janice Faye Stone, 50, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born January 9, 1966, in Evansville, to Jerry Blackwell and the late Helena Bernice (Kendall) Daugul.

She was a member of Boonville Worship Center for over 15 years. She was a loving, caring, and giving person and had a very funny sense of humor. She was devoted to her family and loved Christmas, it was her favorite holiday.

Janice was preceded in death by her mother; stepfather, Frank Daugul; sister, Donna Wilson; grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Stone; son, Joseph Stone (Christina Combs); father, Jerry (Ann) Blackwell; sister, Sheila (Gene) Kempf; aunts, Margaret Wingfield Sharon Dugas; uncle, Eldon (Sharon) Kendall; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and in-laws.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 AM Monday, September 5, 2016, at Boonville Worship Center, officiated by Pastor Scott Pullum. Friends may visit Monday from 9 AM until service time at the church.
