He graduated from Central High School in 1976. He loved to play golf and eat sushi and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jay is survived by his daughter, Brittney Sutherlin; son, Tom Sutherlin; father, Thomas A. Sutherlin; sister, Catherine Hibbs; and brother, Jim Sutherlin.
Services will be 5:30 PM Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM EST Friday, May 4, 2012, in Union Cemetery in Eaton, IN. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderWestChapel.com.
